Dr. Robert Kuttner is a respected national commentator and Economist, the founder and co-editor of The American Prospect magazine, and long-time columnist for Business Week. He is the author of nine books on economic policy including The Squandering of America: How the Failure of our Politics Undermines our Prosperity. Dr. Kuttner is the 2012 occupant of the Wayne Morse Chair of Law and Politics at the University of Oregon. The Wayne Morse Center hosts scholars and advocates in the tradition of Wayne Morse the former Senator from Oregon.

Dr. Kuttner will discuss the growth of income inequality in the U.S. and Oregon, addressing the policy response at the national and state level, including tax and investment strategies. Join us for a discussion of ballot measures and other choices facing Oregon.
